In a world full of screens I've always found it more reassuring writing first drafts with an actual pen and paper. No distractions. I can just curl up in bed, or in summer out on the swinging seat, getting lost in the worlds in my head. Watching the pages fill with my words.
This has given me a fascination with notebooks. I'm always on the hunt for something with an interesting cover, something a bit different that the school notebooks. I love writing with a fountain pen so that's the next problem. So many times I've started writing on the first page only to find the ink has bleed through to the next page, so many notebooks only use thin flimsy paper. So I decided to make my own, with professionally designed covers, high quality paper and the planning tools I wish I had while I was writing (instead of sraps of paper).
